Lune rubbed the scar on his forehead as he slowly walked into the office. There were many things he'd contemplated asking, most of them pertaining to his thoughts about leaving the guild or the aftermath of their deaths. But in the end he'd decided to keep concealing his worries about leaving. He couldn't leave while he was still disappearing, after all. He needed answers!
"Um, hello," he began, inwardly scoffing at his uncharacteristic awkwardness, but then again, everything felt different now...
"I was wondering what, if anything, you know of our powers. Is it possible it will disappear in time?"
As Lune walks inside, he finds Silas pacing in his office, grasping a mug that he periodically sips at. When the door creaks, his attention turns to Lune. It seems Agnes is not present. "Greetings."
He raises the bizarre mug to his mouth again--really, it doesn't seem to be his taste at all, where did he get it?--as Lune poses his question, then nods.
"An excellent question, but one I'm afraid I can't help you with." He sighs. "These are unprecedented times, aren't they? From what we can understand thus far, however, these abilities seem to be a part of you."
He rifles through some papers scattered across the desk, which appear to be notes from the Guild Meeting. "Based on everybody's accounts, these powers may now be a natural part of your body, and likely due to the Laurelstone's influence. Now, what do you know about Laurelstone?"
He asks, but he quickly answers himself. "Their magic attunement does not fade unless they are broken. Therefore, my theory is that it will be the same case for you Wayseekers."
"Your scientific query is appreciated. Do come again if you've more questions, and if you're feeling, ah, uneasy about this..." Silas smiles. "Agnes may be the better cat to talk to."
